There are many places for you to visit during your stay at TKfarm. The market towns of Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Hereford and Ledbury each have their own character and appeal. They each have many things for you to enjoy such as shopping, restaurants and coffee shops where you can relax and take in your surroundings. Each town has its own unique story with ancient streets and traditional architecture for you to see.
If you are a history enthusiasts there are plenty of castles and historical sites for you to explore such as the ruins of Goodrich, Eastnor, Raglan, Usk and Skenfrith castles. Tintern Abbey is another great place to visit along with seeing the Mappa Mundi at Hereford Cathedral which is one of the world’s oldest surviving maps.

For family entertainment there are many choices like the Maze and Butterfly Farm at Symonds Yat that gives you the chance to see exotic species. The Open Farm near Ledbury gives a great hands-on agricultural experience which children will enjoy. The Ledbury Miniature Railway is perfect for all ages and the Forest of Dean has an ancient woodland that hides the Clearwell Caves.

The River Wye is a great place for canoeing and there are many walking routes that will take you into the surrounding countryside where you can see wildlife including the peregrine falcons that fly above the valley. There are many local cider orchards that offer tasting sessions and farm shops and gastropubs that offer local produce and meals.
