Our fishing lakes were opened in 2011 and are nestled in 5 acres of quiet countryside. The two pools offer a mix of pleasure and specimen angling with fish in excellent condition.

The lakes have been carefully designed to accommodate wheelchair user access.

Trippenkennett is an ideal venue for the experienced, novice or junior angler.

No pre booking required for day tickets.

Willow Lake

Willow has been designed with the pleasure angler in mind, sitting at 3 acres this lake contains a variety of fish species: crucian, common and mirror carp up to 10lb, through to 3lb tench, 6lb bream and roach. It is ideal for the beginner or those looking to fish with a novice family member, however experienced fishers also enjoy this lake because of the range of fish available. Willow is around 3m deep at its deepest part and has good access for wheelchair users. This lake is suitable for all abilities. Accurate bait and fishing light will help you catch a good selection of fish.

Oak - Carp Lake

Oak lake was designed for the experienced angler and contains a good selection of mirror, crucian and common carp with fish ranging from 10lb up to 20lbs

The water stretches over 2¾ acres and with its deepest part being just over 3 metres.

No two fish are the same and  we pride ourselves on the good condition of our fish.

The welfare of our fish is important to us and so you must be a competent angler, with the right kit to fish this lake (Please read our rules regarding fishing kit on this lake).

PLEASURE LAKE

Day Permit - £8.00, Evening permit (after 4pm) £5.00
Junior permit (under 16) £4.00, Evening permit (after 4pm) £3.00

CARP LAKE

Day Permit - £10.00, Evening permit (after 4pm) £6.00

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND OUR FISHERY RULES
BEFORE FISHING, REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN IF YOU ARE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FISHERY.

All fish to be returned to the lake, removal of fish from the site or to different lakes will result in prosecution

GENERAL FISHING RULES
Do not proceed to the lakes until you have first dipped your nets, slings and mats in
the tubs provided.
Each angler must have their own landing net and all fish must be netted.
Each angler must have their own padded unhooking mat.
No keep nets or carp sacks permitted on any of the lakes.
No rods to be left unattended or in the care of another angler.
No fixed rigs (any weights, feeders or floats tied permanently to the line.)
Fishing from designated swim only.
No Dogs, except guide dogs or with prior permission
Barbless hooks only, No hooks bigger than Size 10

No braided main line right through to the hook or hook lengths except coated braid hook links

NO LITTER TO BE LEFT

BAIT RULES
No floating baits or surface fishing, No Tiger Nuts, Peanuts, or cat/dog food

Bread only on the hook

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR FISHING CARP LAKE

NO surface fishing
Each angler must have a 36 inch plus specimen landing net. No pan nets
Each angler must have a large beanie mat or carp cradle. Please keep these wet.
Do not carry the fish
No one under 18 is allowed to fish unless accompanied by a fishing adult.

Please use Carp fish Care - Minimum line weight 10lb
